Class Styles

  • BARRE:

    Inspired by traditional ballet and dance movement, fused together with pilates, yoga and athletic cardio. Minimal equipment is required, and with this fast paced style to the beat of the music, you will leave these classes dripping in sweat, and pumped with feel good endorphins! Barre classes are low impact, but high intensity.

    Types of Classes:

    HIIT THE BARRE: This is my classic barre x cardio class! In this full body class we will focus on muscular endurance with high reps, pulses for days, and intense cardio bursts. Preparer to SWEAT.

    BARRE STRENGTH: A full body, muscular endurance barre class. High reps, light weights, low impact, yet high intensity. All strength no cardio, backed by and a strong beat, always.

    Arms & Abs: Hello, upper body barre! This class focuses on arms, chest, back and core. Get ready to push, pull, pulse and sweat!

    Barre Booty: Hello low body barre! This class focuses on legs, glutes and core. Get ready to pulse, pile, lunge and sweat!

    Equipment: 1-3lb weights, Booty Band, Sliders (*optional)

  • STRENGTH:

    Move for Strength:

    In this class we focus on full body strengthening using body weight and dumbbells. We focus on a small number of reps with multiple sets and timed movements to progress week over week and show ourselves what we are made of. Ready? Let’s get to work.

    Equipment: Resistance Bands, Dumbbells 5lbs+

  • CARDIO:

    Types of Classes:

    CARDIO PARTY: A HIIT class with fun cardio based intervals with a barre (of course!) flare.

    LOW IMPACT CARDIO: A class that is high in intensity, but low impact. Take it easy on the joints with this class that has zero jumping.

  • YOGA & STRETCH:

    Types of Classes:

    BARRE x YOGA: A class that combines my favourite aspects of each movement style. In this class, we will move slowly with the breath to allow a slow burn followed by deep stretching to bring us back to balance in our minds and body.

    YIN YOGA: Our minds & bodies are connected. I believe a thorough workout program must include flexibility & mobility work which are both incorporated in my yoga classes. We move mindfully through various poses to turn inwards and notice not only how our physical bodies feel, but how we feel inside. Focus on the breath, and meeting your edge in these classes.

    STRETCH & MOBILITY: Focus on recovery of the muscles and joins and well as flexibility and full range movement progressions to keep you body feeling it’s best.
