Hi, I’m Sara, the founder of Sara Bucks Movement!

I have always had a passion for wellness and fitness. I started dancing when I was four, then soon became a competitive dancer and finally danced professionally including dancing for the Toronto Argos A- Team.

My love of dance and movement led me to become a certified barre fitness, yin yoga and group fitness instructor as well as a personal trainer. In March 2020, when the global pandemic hit and studios were forced to close, I began to teach free online classes to keep people moving from home. My movement community grew and in August 2020, I launched my own online fitness business; Sara Bucks Movement.

When I’m not teaching Sara Bucks Movement classes, I am working as the Director of Client services for Well Street Health and focusing on corporate wellness solutions. I provide wellness consulting services to corporations across North America, and also teach corporate fitness classes, customizable to each company's needs.

Finally, I am currently in year two towards completing my Masters of Teaching degree at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. My dream is to combine my passion for both teaching and movement, and become a leader for movement facilitation in both the education and corporate sectors.

I believe that movement is medicine and I hope to continue to share my passion for teaching, fitness and overall well-being with others through community-based programming.
